Join us as we celebrate another successful year of fundraising with the annual Elite Control Systems and The North British Distillery Charity Bowls match! Our annual Bowls event at the West Calder Bowling Club was a big hit once again, with a delicious lunch supplied by local Thistles good friendly competition, and lots of fun.
After a hearty lunch, teams were formed, bowls were collected, and the games began. With the weather just holding out, the top two teams faced off in a thrilling final match, with NBD emerging victorious by just one bowl.
In keeping with tradition, the “throw a coin at the Bottle” followed along with a Raffle, raising and with generous addition contributions from both NBD and the Robertson’s Trust meant that over a £1,000 was raised for Alzheimer’s Scotland.
Thank you everyone who participated and helped make this event a success and here’s to another great year of giving back and having a great time together.
Well done everyone who helped and took part.

Congratulations to our very own Elite engineer Ben Robertson!
Following the European Box Lacrosse Championship in Hannover which took place over the past month, after a number of challenging games for the Scotland side they made it all the way to the Semi-Finals and placed an outstanding 7th Place. From everyone at Elite we were so happy to support Ben and the team and we couldn’t be prouder of the Scotland team’s achievement and putting Scotland Box Lacrosse on the map.

Congratulations team Elite for participating so enthusiastically in the Cycle September 2020 challenge!
Under the careful guidance of our Captain 🙂 supported by his very able First Lieutenant JC, our team smashed our 1,000 mile month target clocking up a total of 1114 miles during September.
More than 50% of the team took part in the challenge and we collectively contributed and helped save more than 1200lbs of carbon CO2 emissions.
In terms of the final places in our company size categories; Elite finished #1 In West Lothian and, #9 in the UK. Worldwide we finished #4 for Manufacturing and Engineering companies. An amazing achievement.
Finally, a massive thank you too for the huge encouragement received from all our colleagues in Elite House – it really helped especially, when the sun didn’t come out!
Keep up the good habits everyone and thank you once again for all your help & support!
