Starting the New Year Off Strong at Elite

Starting the New Year Off Strong at Elite

Our team kicked off 2025 with an exciting and engaging training day on the Aveva platforms, using the innovative Innovation Labs training materials, all delivered by the experts at Solutions PT!

The boardroom was buzzing with energy as our team dove into hands-on, interactive labs included a variety of engaging sessions, from designing modern architectures using MQTT Sparkplug B and OPC UA, to exploring innovation in HMI and SCADA systems. We also delved into the effective use of plant data through Historian and techniques for reporting to stakeholders. Each session was packed with valuable insights and practical knowledge that will help drive success in our projects this year.

And of course, no training session is complete without pizza – which was a major hit at lunch!

A huge thank you to Solutions PT for putting together such a valuable and enjoyable experience for the Elite team. We’re looking forward to applying what we’ve learning and continuing to innovate this year!

Elite Bowling Night

As Winter departs and Spring beckons, lighter nights arrive so some of the team headed to the bowls for a bit of indoor fun and a night at the ten-pin bowling. Blowing off some steam (Very relevant for one of our customers projects just now!) a few bowls were thrown down the lane and knocking over a few pins (sometimes!) whilst trying to avoid that nasty gutter (more often than some of us would have liked) helped get rid of a few cobwebs and helped get everyone out of the rain for a while.

Spot the winners by the biggest smiles…..

Elite Cycle Warriors Victory

Elite Cycle Warriors Victory

Throughout the month of May, the Elite Cycle Warriors have been tirelessly working through the Love2Ride Bike Challenge.

We are excited to announce that the Warriors have completed their quest and have racked in an staggering 3,209 points which brings them into 1st Position for West Lothian, Engineering and Manufacturing Industry category and a fantastic 3rd Position for all of Scotland.

The Elite Cycle Warriors have poured blood, sweat and tears into the challenge and their efforts have lead them to this great success. This wouldn’t have been possible without this year’s Team Captain Lewis Galloway who spearheaded the recruitment and motivation of the warriors.

After a gruelling month the Team took the opportunity of a short break in the fantastic weather to celebrate by having a BBQ behind headquarters when with a lot of food, laughter and well deserved fun for a job well done.

The Elite Cycle Warriors are now having a well deserved rest, but will soon be eager to take part in new challenges in the future but for now I hope you all join us in saying a massive congratulations to the Elite Cycle Warriors.
